Grundtvig is supporting the participants of the course in Canterbury

SKYLIGHT is going to carry out its train-the-trainer course CLTC-C in Canterbury, UK from 14 to 19 February 2011. The course takes place at SKYLIGHT’s business partner Pilgrims. The national agencies of the Grundtvig organisation support the participants with up to € 900 for the course as well as € 250 for board and lodgings during the 6-day-course. The deadline for registration is 15 September 2010.

Getting fit for corporate language trainings in six days
The course comprises the modules course design and planning (1), Scenario Technique (2) and Blended Learning (3). Tutor Lesley Crowe shows in the first two modules how to design and implement a course relating to the CEF and the business communication at the students’ workplace. The language trainers learn with the help of tutor Michael Tighe how to support their students during the pre-training and post-training phase and how to deploy which media in their classes to make the lessons varied and motivating.  

Grundtvig: For further education in Europe
The CLTC-C course receives a financial support from Grundtvig for the first time. Altogether, the national agency allows rates of assistance of €1,1150 maximum. Participants receive € 250 for board and lodging of this amount. The organisation which is carrying out the training, in this case SKYLIGHT, receives € 900. That means that the entire course fee is being subsidised by Grundtvig if the application for Grundtvig support is accepted. Participants have to pay travel costs, accommodation and food themselves; for this, they can apply for an allowance of € 250 (see above).
SKYLIGHT recommends arriving in the evening of 14 February in order to be able to start the course on 14 February at 9 a.m. on time and welcome the participants.
