Development of the CLTC-C

The CLTC-C was developed by Henkel, Bosch, 3M and SKYLIGHT. The goal was to establish a qualification for language trainers, which supports in particular the business and training goals of corporations and their personnel development programmes.

In particular, all companies had identified a need to equip language trainers with the necessary skills demanded by corporations in the early 21^st century:

• Training which is role-based and job-specific
• A communication-focussed approach to training
• Training supported by everyday technology through blended learning concepts
