The Course: Communication and Language Trainer Certificate – Corporate
Developed by corporations to meet the specific communication and language needs of their staff, the CLTC-C course enables trainers to prepare themselves for the current and future training demands of corporations.
The development of communication skills in international business is the goal of CLTC-C qualified trainers. The course enables language trainers to:
- design and plan their courses effectively according to the roles and business processes in which their corporate learners are involved
- define learning goals, evaluate and measure progress, with particular reference to the Common European Framework
- set up job-specific, role-based scenarios and deliver structured and professional feedback
- develop blended learning concepts and learn to use essential elearning tools.
The course consists of three modules:
Module 1: Course design and materials
Module 2: Role-based training – the Scenario Technique
Module 3: Learner support and progress evaluation
To achieve the certificate, participants are required to complete an assignment and present its rationale to external assessors.
